Group Sessions:

Sessions will run in 6 week blocks. There will be a maximum of five children in each group session. Three children are needed for a group to go ahead. If you pay for your child’s space and not enough children have booked into a group you will be given notice and a full refund. You can then be put back on a waiting list until the minimum amount of children for a group has been achieved. Upfront payment must be made before the 6 week block of sessions. If no payment has been made by the deadline given then your child’s space will be given to someone else on the waiting list.

Unarranged Absences (such as sickness)

If your child cannot attend a group session due to sickness (or another unplanned reason) then a recording of the missed session will be available.

Arranged Absences (such as holidays)

If a child will miss a session due to a holiday or other planned absence, notice is needed at the time of payment for the upcoming block of sessions.

Missed Sessions

These are non refundable. A recording of the missed session will be available on request.

Arriving late to sessions

To get the most out of the group sessions your child needs to be punctual and ready to learn. Being consistently late will be disruptive to the other children in the group.

Tutor sickness

If I cannot host a group session due to illness or family emergency a recording of the missed session will be given.

Technical Difficulties (Tutor)

If I experience connection difficulties during the group session that lasts longer than 15 minutes, I will send a recording of the session.

Tutor Holidays

I will give notice if I am unable to offer group sessions due to planned holidays when payment is due.

Cameras and microphones

Cameras and mics are optional in the session. Your child can turn off cameras and mics during the session if they feel more comfortable. The chat box will be open if your child would like to ask or answer questions.

Resources

Your child will need something to write down, for example a paper and a pencil or a whiteboard for the group sessions. If your child needs anything additional I will let you know when payment is due.

Homework

Optional homework will follow each session can be sent on request.

Supervision

A parent or guardian should be in close proximity of their child during the session. Parents / guardians do not need to sit with their child, but should be close by in case their child needs them.
